The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) is used to prioritize national defense-related contracts and orders throughout the United States supply chain to support military, energy, homeland security, emergency preparedness, and critical infrastructure requirements. Our sponsor, the Department of Homeland Security, refers to DPAS as “FPAS,” a Federal Priorities and Allocations System.
An FPAS priority rating authority ensures timely delivery of critical materials and services from private industry. A rated contract receives preferential treatment (if needed) to fulfill delivery requirements.
Battelle National Biodefense Institute, LLC, is approved to use the FPAS Program Identification rating of DO-N6 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Countermeasures.
