Institutional Safety Committee (ISC)

NBACC is managed, operated, sustained, and enhanced in a way that creates and maintains a strong safety culture. In support of this safety culture, NBACC’s Institutional Safety Committee (ISC) provides an avenue to address all safety aspects of NBACC activities. The ISC is a standing committee with access to intramural and extramural subject matter experts (SMEs), as needed. The ISC provides recommendations to the Laboratory Director, Leadership Team, Environmental, Health & Safety Manager and NBACC staff on such matters as safety protocols, laboratory processes and lessons learned.
