Pulling into the parking lot of Lincoln Elementary School last Wednesday, I struggled to remember the last time I had taken a field trip.
I couldn’t recall, maybe because it was 7 a.m. and I hadn’t pounded back a coffee yet.
On the hour-long bus tour, I was about to join a bunch of bleary-eyed business folks on what is a part of the Superintendent of Frederick County Public Schools’ regular business breakfasts.
